I will be in revival at Friendship Baptist, in Culleoka, tonight through Sunday morning. I could use some intense prayer.
The church is celebrating the 200th year of its formation. Just think in 1810 some committed believers joined together and in this southern wilderness of Tennessee they formed a church. For some 200 years now people have worshiped and found their place in the kingdom of God because of those people some 200 years ago.
In the throw away society of our day we have lost some of the value of what we do. The work that we do for God today is not to be discounted and neither will He throw it away. His work is forever. It was no doubt the intense prayer of those who lived long ago that brought forth the fruit known today as Friendship Baptist. Those long forgotten people have left their mark an imprint on our lives. Let us consider this and live for those who will follow us as they lived for us.
